Open the Design step for a Victorian lot, read the verdict and the four headline figures.

The Design step is what makes Land Axis more than a planning map: it takes the zone, the schedule and the Victorian deemed-to-comply standards and draws the building they allow on this specific lot, then reports the height, storeys, floor area and coverage that come out of it.

   Open Design

   With a parcel selected, choose "Design" in the step bar at the top of the property panel (Planning → Design → Feasibility), or select "Continue to design" at the foot of the Planning step. The lot is modelled as soon as Build opens — there is nothing to switch on.

   Read "What you can build here"

   The card at the top of Design gives the answer first: the product that fits best, the limit that binds, and what else is possible. Where the tool cannot offer a building the usual way, it says why and offers what still works — for example "Model land lots" or "Enter my own scheme →".

   Choose how to get a building

   Two buttons sit at the top of Design. "Design from the rules" generates the largest compliant building and lets you adjust it; "Use my own drawing" lets you pin a plan to the map, trace the outside walls and have that measured instead. This course follows "Design from the rules".
