Import a feasibility PDF

Attach an existing appraisal and review its line items before they go into a study.

If the deal already exists in another feasibility model or spreadsheet, you do not need to retype it. Land Axis reads the PDF, extracts the line items and maps them to categories for you to review before anything is written into a study.

   Start the import

   From "New study" on the Dashboard, choose "Import a PDF or talk it through". The New Feasibility Study page opens on a conversation headed "Describe it, or drop in a feasibility PDF".

   Attach the PDF

   Select "Attach PDF", or drop the file onto the message box. Only PDF files are supported. You can add a message about the deal with it, for example a figure in the PDF that has since changed, then send.

   Let it extract

   The file appears as its own card while it is "extracting…", then with the number of lines found and how many need a category. The assistant can talk through what came across and help fix it.
